CEAS Laguna di Nora
for schools

A perfect place to learn

At the CEAS Laguna di Nora, you will find a multifunctional educational environment that integrates natural, historical, economic, and productive aspects, illustrating how nature and humans shape history and build the future. We offer programs and educational workshops to raise awareness of the ecological, social, and economic value of marine and coastal ecosystems. Each year, we welcome over 10,000 visitors, including students and tourists.

A unique experience.

Observing natural systems helps us reflect on the challenges of our time. The interdisciplinary approaches needed to study the environment are difficult to implement solely within a school setting. They require opportunities, encounters, and experiences that reveal how the complexity of nature engages our senses and stimulates our minds.

A unique experience.

A training ground for
deeper learning.

Ecology concerns the complex balances of the environment that surrounds us. It directly affects us, and while it demands intellectual rigor, it cannot be fully understood without direct experience and a love for nature. Ecology helps us see things as interconnected systems, reminding us of our limits and the responsibility we have for our actions.

CEAS for local development

We design experimental pathways for public administration, applying co-governance methodologies for the management of common goods. We create collective spaces for reflection and the exploration of possible future scenarios related to local development.

Inspiring action through the exploration of alternative futures.

We contribute to spreading concepts and practices of active citizenship from an early school age.
Through participatory placemaking methodologies, we actively engage communities in the care and regeneration of common goods.

Community experiences

The projects we propose focus on the field of co-governance and collaborative urban development, exploring the transition from cities to “collaborative cities” by studying, supporting, and testing new forms of collaboration among associations, local administrations, academia, citizens, and private actors for the care and regeneration of urban common goods.

Looking at the future together
Our squares, our artistic heritage, our forests, our beaches, our history, our traditions. In participatory design workshops and in-depth seminars, the collaborative community is engaged to share visions, bridging the present and the future, in order to imagine and build communities of aware citizens, cities that better meet their needs and respond to the urgent demands for sustainability in the governance of their territories.

CEAS for the Gutturu Mannu Regional Natural Park

An ancient forest near home.
The Park as a large natural laboratory where we experiment with new methodological approaches to facilitate knowledge and experience of the natural world. We offer educational and recreational activities in the Park for schools, extracurricular programs and everyone interested, to promote a sense of closeness to nature that can significantly contribute to our well-being.
This aims to raise awareness about the natural environment and the importance of safeguarding it.

“The green nourishes the soul.”

Eco-operative Learning to experience the Park not only through cognitive registers.
The presence of “green” in our lives, in our daily routines, and in our moments of leisure is the central theme of our educational projects aimed at schools and adult citizens. We create opportunities where green becomes an experience for both the body and the soul, helping raise awareness of how its presence or absence affects the quality of our lives.

Selva Emotiva: An holistic trail in the Park

Selva Emotiva: An holistic trail in the Park

It is the five senses that form the common thread of the Pixina Manna nature trail in Pula. An invitation to immerse yourself in the wild nature to relax, seeking a dialogue with nature. We have designed a path that unfolds in two ways: the first is cognitive-sensory, and the other is more emotionally driven.
Installations that act as sensory amplifiers, inviting you to experience the forest through smell, hearing, sight, scent and touch.

Other stops invite you to pause, to prepare for silence, to stop time, and silence the daily buzz. Immersed in the colors and sounds of the forest.

You can find Selva Emotiva on the Quota 100 trail of Pixina Manna. The trail starts near Building 2 of Sardegna Ricerche and ends at the viewpoint.
